Worship

For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the  Lord’s.

For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Romans 14:7-11

This post  is going to be a little bit longer that the average True Purpose journal entry. But today’s discussion really  hits the heart of why I started to write this devotional journal. I want to proclaim to the world, (or at least to those who will direct their attention to this site) that to understand our true purpose for living, we must serve  our Lord, Jesus Christ with our whole heart.  Verse 11 has been on my mind very often in the last few weeks! God promises that every one shall worship and confess to the true and living God.  Worship is one of God’s expectations of his children.  And if we really think about, why would we not want to worship him. Think of some of  the blessings in your life for a moment. Can you see that without God’s wonderful Grace, we would  not be able to claim any good thing in our life? Many people in this world cannot see this truth.  Maybe they are lost, as we all were lost once before the truth made us free. Many know the truth but refuse to accept it. The list goes on, but one thing is certain, one day everyone will worship him. Unfortunately,  for many it will be too late.  Many people will die after a lifetime of rejecting  the fact that Jesus is the only way to true happiness!  We don’t get a second chance to change our mind after we die. (sure this is common sense, but it needs to be repeated here) After those people who are not found in the Lamb’s Book of Life meet their maker(God) and worship him, they will be thrown in to the lake of fire where they will remain forever!

Wow! That’s kind of harsh,Michael. Would a loving God really do that? Yes, his Word proclaims his judgement on those who confess that he is our salvation, (Everlasting life in Heaven) and to those who reject him as the only hope. (Eternal Damnation in the fiery pits of Hell)  We all have a choice to make and my prayer is that all who read these words choose to accept Jesus Christ as God, that he made a way for us to join him in Heaven  by paying the price for our sin. This payment was his death on the Cross after living a life free of Sin. While on that cross, He alone became  our sin. After rising from the dead, He sprinkled His own blood on the altar in Heaven to complete this process. And now all we have to do is trust him. This is as easy as its sounds. Yet so many people will not choose Jesus. What is holding them back? Pride, lifestyles,  a feeling that everything changes if they choose to accept Christ. (Yes, praise God! we are changed when we accept him!)

Today’s Plan of Attack:

We must unite and tell the world of this powerful truth. Do you see that we are in the final days? God is not going to let the world destroy itself, he will intervene and bring his church home before his judgement on those that reject him. Feel free to share this journal will all your family and friends. The time to act is now! What are we waiting  for… a sign from heaven? God’s Word is full of the signs of the times, the Holy Bible mentions  many specific events that are happening in the world right now! PLEASE join me in sharing the good news today, tomorrow may be too late!

To the point Michael. Makes perfect sense in my life as the seasons change in the weather, so does my choice in my exercising of my religious practices too. Thank you for this poignant message. I have taken it to heart.

Your message is real, and I fear for all lost souls, and my only prayer is that we can glorify God and bring others to Christ before it’s too late.
